Your tasks

In this role, you will be a core part of the European Data Procurement team - based in Munich - and therefore have a direct impact on the shaping of our products. 
 
This is a challenging role requiring strong commercial acumen, creativity and a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to persuade and influence senior decision-makers from a wide range of public and private entities.

Your role

• Develop strategies to collaborate hand-in-hand with Automotive OEMs, identify the right departments and their decision makers, secure meetings with them and introduce the CARFAX model
• Negotiate agreements and contracts for access to vehicle data in terms that will protect and grow the products, financial interests and resources of CARFAX
• Develop and maintain key relationships with key OEMs present in the European market and develop strategic partnerships
• Support the efforts of other CARFAX departments and work on cross-functional teams
• Hold effective meetings with relevant internal departments, align resources, set deadlines, priorities and communicate activities and responsibilities – project management experience in this regard would be advantageous
• Your ability to prioritize activities, improve & document workflows as well as the completion of effective analysis and evaluation of data is also key to success in this position
• Participate in the development of strategic planning, budgeting as well as reporting and tracking of costs throughout the financial year
• Represent CARFAX at relevant conferences and industry body events

Your profile

• Over 5-year experience in developing partnerships with automotive OEMs in Europe
• Experienced in answering objections and creating win-win solutions, while being persistent in attempting to achieve goals and objectives
• Significant experience in supplying services to OEMs with own professional network
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations, strategy documents, status reports, and correspondence in clear, concise, persuasive language
• Proven ability to define and communicate objective measurements to support strategic and tactical goals, including documenting, tracking and communicating the progress of assigned activities
• Able to manage complex scenarios requiring sound commercial and legal understanding and an ability to find practical and sustainable solutions
• Your ability to think outside the box, challenge norms and have a visionary approach is a plus
• Ability to travel as required by the position (about 50%)
• Automotive lifecycle knowledge is also highly desirable i.e. aftersales service and repair, insurance, roadside assistance or similar
• High level of English languages; Other European languages like German, Spanish, Italian or Polish will be valuable
