Your tasks
Associate Cybersecurity Analyst is an entry-level position with strong emphasis on protection of company’s systems, networks, and data against modern cybersecurity threats and malicious actors. This position is based in Munich.
You will
Monitor security alerts
Analyse potential vulnerabilities
Assist in responding to security incidents
Help implement security controls to enhance security posture of CARFAX Europe
Your profile
A degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or similar would be desirable
Work experience with security event analysis ans operating systems (Windows & Mac)
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP stack, DNS, subnets, VPNs) as well as common security principles (CIA triad, least privilege)
Basic familiarity with EDR/AV platforms
Ability to identify common attack indicators
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Open and collaborative working style: collaboration, communication, proper documentation and sharing as key working style
Bonus points for:
Experience with security controls and frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001 basics)
Knowledge of Microsoft and AWS environments
Experience using SIEM tools (MS Sentinel, Google SecOps.)
Basic log analysis and incident triage skills
A certificate like CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA CySA+
